In a very challenging time for all of us due to the pandemic, Elisa and Chris decided to celebrate their wedding in Olbia, on the coral coast. Together with Hotel Ollastu, they organized the event following precautions and safety protocols. It hasn’t been an easy year, but it has also shown that it is possible to continue hosting outdoor events while following necessary precautions and regulations.
Elisa and Chris live in England, in Oxford, and chose to celebrate their wedding in Sardinia, Elisa’s homeland. Cris and his family have African origins, and the dances and music at their wedding took center stage on the northern coast of Sardinia.
The wedding took place entirely within Hotel Ollastu, from the preparations to the final celebration, minimizing movements and allowing for a relaxed wedding experience. The preparation of the couple was beautiful and entertaining, as they stayed in adjacent rooms, allowing them to communicate at a distance.
For wedding photographers like us, minimizing movements is crucial, focusing solely on telling the story of carefully chosen details, spontaneous moments with friends and family, and the play of light provided by the marvelous location.
Andrea Basolu handled Elisa’s hairstyle and makeup, and the bride’s dress was designed by the young Sicilian designer Salvatore Musumeci, who works between London and Berlin. A unique, modern, fresh, and versatile dress.
The ceremony took place in the gardens of Hotel Ollastu, with an international atmosphere blending English, French, and Italian, and emotions taking center stage in the ritual.
The cake cutting was accompanied by candles and bright stars in a cozy and fun atmosphere.
Elisa and Chris’s celebration was unique and unforgettable, featuring dances and music with an international flavor.
